Happy Monday

Mr. and Mrs. House Finch
Did you know that house finches sing for their supper? Well, they do. They sit on the feeder and sing in between bites. They are very musical. Here is a link to their SONG. Isn't it beautiful? I enjoy them very much.

Well, a wonderfully happy Monday to you. This past weekend was dreary, cold and rainy. Today the sun is brilliant in the sky and that alone makes me feel like dancing. I look forward to getting out into the front yard garden beds to do some much needed work. They have been neglected while my attention was on the backyard vegetable garden.

Normally, I post a menu for the week, but I haven't gotten around to figuring one out. I think that I will fly by the seat of my pants over the next few days. That may or may not be a great idea, but it's the best I can do right now.

Have a great day!

You and me both :) With double kids in the house for the last week, we're just getting our feet back under us! I have a fridge full of greens though...but unfortunately, not enough onions to make me happy, I'll have to fix that :)

Good luck in your garden! I need to borrow my dad's pick axe if we're going to make any more progress in the front yard- it's literally clay. Like you'd use on a pottery wheel. Absurd, but a little fun to smoosh between my fingers :)

What an incredible picture! I love birds. I'm going one day at a time with my meals this week. We have a lot of fish, so I think we'll have fish tacos tonight.

Your hard work in the garden is inspiring me. My backyard is crying for some weeding, and I think my tiny side yard just might have promise as a vegetable garden. If it's not too late to plant something. :)
