Whew, I'm Back!
Hi, Friends!
I thought that you might like to see this little guy I purchased on super sale for $5. I got him on Friday at one of my favorite places in the Salt Lake Valley, Gardner Village. The children and I spent the afternoon there with some dear friends. Unfortunately, my photos didn't turn out from the adventure.
I got really sick Friday night and was in bed the whole weekend. Yesterday, I dragged myself out of bed to have a family outing (the children are home from school on Fall Break). We kept it inexpensive, but had a lot of fun. Then, I went back to bed.
Today, I am up and mildly productive. I am trying to stay positive and up, thinking thankful, abundant thoughts about our current situation. I'd be lying if I said that I don't worry at all. The economy has me very concerned. We know many companies related to the industry my husband was involved in (home automation - impacted by real estate, construction, etc.) which have gone bankrupt. One year ago, we wouldn't have believed that could happen. We don't yet know what we personally will do, but believe that the Lord will somehow provide.
These are very difficult times for a lot of people.
Well, the leaves are beginning to turn here on the foothills of the mountains. It was 35 degrees this morning. So, the frost is definitely on the punkin'!
Have a great day!
Love,
Elizabeth

I hope you're feeling better. I love your little pumpkin guy.
Opps, sorry about the delete! I did it again! :)
I am so sorry you have been ill.
I haven't been to Gardner Village yet and I miss their pumpkin spice spray I get there each year. It's on my to do list this week with my grandchildren. Your little pumpkin guy is cute!
Hope you are feeling much better physically and just continue to have faith! The Lord loves you and knows your needs.
Bless your heart,
Beth
I don't know if you get BYU, (channel 68 on our TV) If you do it is an awesome talk from Women's conference...
I don't even know if you will get this in time.... Still thinking about you and just said a prayer for your family.
Glad you are on the mend! :)
Ohhhhhh...... 35 degrees this morning.... I know the changing leaves and cold temps are beautiful!
I miss taking day trips to St. George and Bryce. So beautiful up your way.
Your pumpkin is so adorable!
Please steal the candy corn idea! Makes me very happy to know you will be doing so!
He's cute! I hope you're feeling better! Yes, these are such scary times. My husband is in retail and as I'm sure you know stores are filing for bankruptcy left and right and business is down anyway. We're just hoping for he best!
