My Sweet Lineman

My son, Robert, let me take pictures of him today for my blog. He is at football practice, where he is a lineman.
Many years ago, when I was a young woman, I thought football was boring. Never could I have imagined myself spending countless hours at football practice and enjoying it. But I love to watch Robert train. This is his first year and he has been learning a lot. He is very strong and gets along with his teammates really well. He's very outgoing and friendly. Besides, I now see beauty in this sport as the players strive for excellence.

What I love about Robert is that he is all boy and is very strong, but he is also sweet, sensitive, thoughtful and loves animals and babies. He looks forward to being a daddy one day. What a great combination.

I'm very proud of him!
