All you need is a good blender, veggie oil (use Canola...NEVER use Olive Oil!), apple cider vinegar, 1 egg, salt, powdered mustard and a clean jar.
1/2 t. salt
1/2 t. mustard powder
2 T. apple cider vinegar
1 cup of oil
Put egg, salt, mustard, and vinegar in blender with 1/4 c. of the oil. Blend on low.

Now, here is where you have to be careful. Uncover and pour a slender and steady stream of oil in until the mixture thicken up completely (you won't be able to put in any more oil).
WARNING: if you pour it all in suddenly, you will just have liquid salad dressing. Slow and steady wins the race! :)
When you are finished, the mixture should look something like this...

I should totally do this. I have amazing eggs from a local gal- they're only days old. I just can't get over the raw egg factor... how long does this mayo last? How can you tell if the eggs are too old?? I'm a nervous nellie :)

We make our own as well...so good and much less expensive. It's amazing how easy and quick it is to make.

When I ahve been talking about dad it is my fil. My dad served with your mom's first husband unde Patton. He was hit by a drunk driver at the age of 57 and passed away 23 years ago. I wanted you tos ee if they were in the same unit.
My fil has become like my own my dad in every way plus. So I refer to him as dad. He has started to call me mom! LOL Because I am like a mom to him! LOL I help him when his tummy hurts and when he needs a shoulder to cry on per say.
His care is a daily thing right now...and I am the only one to do it.

Enjoy your sabbath. Mr B leaves at 6:45 am for HC and we will end after a fireside at 9:00 PM. That is attending several Sacrament meetings and sunday school, one RS and 2 stake meetings in between for me. It is a big one tomorrow! :) But we love it!
