Funny Memories and This week's menus

You know life has been a little tough around here, what with chronic illness and delayed employment. Sometimes I feel like I could pull my hair out. However, I cannot picture myself bald, so during times like this I like to look back over our family life and laugh at my funny memories.

The following video recounts the craziest moment of motherhood that I have ever had.

Enjoy!
Elizabeth

Good Morning Elizabeth...
What a beautiful precious story you had to share with me this morning. I laughed and laughed. We never know what our little boys are going to do. They definitely are not like the sugar and spice, and everything nice that the little girls are. What a sweet story. Thank you for sharing.

You asked about my niece Amy. She passed away on October 23rd. She is in heaven now with our Lord and no longer has to fight the pain of cancer. It was a very sad thing. I know we did not want her to suffer anymore, but losing her was quite painful. Off the charts for anything that I have ever endured. Thank you for asking sweet friend. This will be a hard holiday time for all.

Have a beautiful Monday. I am so glad to see you back.

Country hugs...Sherry

OH HOW FUNNY!!!! And I thought it was odd when my son "chased" a fly around the bathroom while going to the bathroom trying to kill it for me with his urine (he was 3). Thanks for posting! I needed the chuckle this morning!

Oh, I like to have died laughing. You are so right there is just nothing to be done.
A paramedic once told me that you aren't a real paramedic until you've experienced the 3 P's. You've been peed on, pooped on and pucked on. I think that is true of motherhood, and oddly enough, who would trade it for anything else? Thanks for sharing.
Love you,
Alicia

That was so funny. Made even funnier because I can completely relate. Our youngest did something similar but it involved his sisters giant basket of beanie babies. I sat down and cried too.

HA!

Elizabeth~ I had to come back and chat about this video!
As an empty nester myself,I can so appreciate the trials and tribulations of motherhood. Being christened by fire or *PEE-PEE* in some cases.
Your story brought a flash back of my own three year old ( at the time) had snuck into my bathroom and wall papered the entire toilet, tank and wall with panty shields! He then stuck them across his forehead. Unbeknown to me he took a few over to my folks and insisted they paste his new version of *SUNGLASSES* to their foreheads as well!!!
Thanks for the belly laugh!!

Sweet Holiday Wishes,
Sara
