Home From A Wonderful Vacation

Hello, dear friends! We are back from our trip back East. It was a wonderful two weeks that went all too quickly...
With happy hearts we hit the skies on Tuesday, June 9th. We hadn't traveled back East as a family for a number of years and we were very excited for our vacation.
The fist leg of our trip took us from Utah to Atlanta. Unfortunately, bad thunderstorms in Virginia, our destination, kept us grounded for three hours. We finally made it to my sister's house late, but we were happy and thankful to be there!
Isn't it beautiful to be above the clouds?
I will be sharing much of our trip over the ensuing weeks and days. It was all wonderful, but all good things must come to an end. :(
Love,
Elizabeth

wow...love the new 'do' from your previous post! And where have I been?!!! You have a new bloggie look. Love it very very much. I have been 'under the weight' of grad and end of school stuff with the son not to mention work work work and some 'shut away' time to dedicate to my novel. So I am back here again...at least to reconnect. Looks like you have been busy too. Take care!

So glad you are back! How interesting to take pictures out of the airplane, I wish I had thought of that on my last trip. You have very nice looking children, too. :)

I hope the trip was as awesome as your beautiful family are. Can't wait to see the pictures!!!!
I know when we reach Atlanta we are clost to our kids. Only about 1.5 hours away! So about your delay...it makes for great people watching though:)

We had to spend the whole night trying to sleep there in the ATL airport several years ago...not fun!

Welcome home!
